Launched in the fall of 2002, the One More Thing Resale Shop is located in downtown Park Forest at 343 Main Street, across from the movie theater lobby in what used to be known as the Park Forest Mall. All proceeds of this upscale, boutique-like resale shop go to South Suburban Family Shelter for The Sanctuary. Shoppers can find items in good condition such as:

At any given time, special sales offer fantastic bargains. For instance, it is not unusual to find all jeans for $1 or less. Another week may feature t-shirts for 50 cents. Stock turns over rapidly.
Donations are accepted at the Resale Shop Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am-2pm.
To volunteer: Volunteers are needed to sort, stock, steam, wash, tag, price and display items plus assist customers and work the cash register. Strong backs are needed to assist with picking up and/or moving donated furniture. Stop in the store and ask for a volunteer application, or call the manager, Sharon Korthauer, at the store.
